In America, 1.2 million cars are stolen each year and law enforcement is in full pursuit, chasing down and catching car thieves with the latest in science and technology. In Police Tech: Stolen Cars, produced by the National Geographic Channel, see how cutting-edge equipment including MPRI’s PatrolSim IV Driver Training Simulator is being used to curb car theft. From virtual cars to virtual cops, plate scanning technology to infrared radiation, they examine some of the latest and greatest in high-tech gadgets.

This segment ( 4:29 minutes) is a portion of the program that shows the Ohio Peace Officers Training Academy use of the MPRI PatrolSim IV Police Driving Simulator.
