D.P. Associates Inc. (DPA)
D.P. Associates Inc. (DPA), headquartered in Arlington, VA, is a technical services organization with a primary focus on leading edge training systems analysis, design, development and implementation. In addition to providing technical support services to the Naval Air Systems Command IPT’s, Divisions and Field Activities since 1987, DPA has supplied training products for every aircraft in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
Training Programs
DPA is a national influence in the military contracting field through advanced training development processes employed by experienced instructional systems developers, programmers, graphic artists, and leading-edge multimedia production staff. DPA personnel have been instrumental to the government’s emphasis on interactive multimedia instruction (IMI), SCORM compliant web based training (WBT), complex computer based training, electronic classrooms, performance support systems, and interactive electronic technical manual (IETM) technologies.
DPA’s corporate capabilities include the thorough analysis of training requirements and the subsequent development of a fully integrated turnkey learning environment. Training efforts routinely include: Task and Skills Analysis, Training Program Analysis and Design, Training Effectiveness and Evaluation Studies, Multimedia Analysis, Training Implementation, production of ADL products, implementation of high resolution computer based courseware, learning center design, electronic classroom configurations, and high-bandwidth CBT networks.
Engineering and Program Support
DPA provides management support services and systems engineering support for a variety of Naval PMA’s. These services include support of acquisition phases of Concept Exploration and Definition (CE/D), Demonstration and Validation (DEM VAL), Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production and Deployment, and Operational Safety Improvement Programs (OSIPs). DPA is an active participant in the NAVAIR Integrated Programs Teams (IPT) for the four major Vertical Flight Programs.
DPA provides engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Naval Air Systems Weapons Systems Command Engineering Division. This includes acquisition phases of concept Exploration and Definition (CE/D), Demonstration and Validation (DEM VAL), Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD), Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support for several Air-to-Air Missile systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles , Air Launched Decoys, and Aerial Targets.
DPA provides engineering, technical and analytical services that have contributed to the accomplishment of the system engineering and programmatic requirements associated with developmental UAV programs. These include the Pioneer Short Range RPV, Pioneer Radio Relay, Mockingbird, Pioneer Alternate Fuel Engine, Medium Range RPV and Amber programs, as well as associated fiscal and program management.
In support of the Navy, Marine Corps and Army UAV Programs, DPA has provided state-of-the-art program support, engineering design and operational analysis. In addition, DPA has contributed to the success of these programs with its exploration of unique UAV designs and mission profiles.
