Kathy Marianelli is the Human Resources Manager on our ICITAP contract. MPRI recently recognized Kathy at a company event for her dedication, responsiveness and problem solving ability. She is considered a tremendous asset by everyone on her team, and our ICITAP contractors. Her areas of responsibility include, database administration, employee relationship management, contractor logistics and contract administration. |
Karl Fails provides central processing support for new hire orientation for MPRI’s Defense Information Agency (DIA) staffing contract. Karl supervises three Team Chiefs and ensures overall quality control, standardization, and proper procedures. At MPRI since Spring 2003, Karl has moved up the ranks from Human Resources Representative to Deputy Program Manager. Karl’s demonstrated team building ability critical thinking skills, process management and leadership ability makes him a great example of professional growth and development within a contract and at MPRI. |
Steve Demasi is the main point of contact for several MPRI contracts, two major MPRI programs- JIEDDO and Afghanistan. Steve has developed an in depth understanding of complex contracts. He is a resource to employees and contractors in the field, working to resolve issues within the contract terms and conditions and more importantly maintaining MPRI standards and ethics. Professionally recognized by his peers for efficiency, compassion and quality, Steve is also important to MPRI on the softball field, helping our team win the league championship in 2008. |
Susan Carter has been with MPRI for almost five years. She began her career with MPRI as an Administrative Assistant and Receptionist and is now one of the most reliable Human Resources Specialists in the department. She is the "Go To" HR Specialist for the most diverse number of client groups — over 20 different contracts — and a recognized expert in HR information systems and methodologies. In the past two years, Susan has taken the lead on reshaping the Benefits Open Enrollment process for MPRI. Thanks to her expertise, we were able to meet the challenges of effectively adopting a new process as seamlessly as possible, while insuring that all MPRI employees received the benefits they elected. |
Kristina Lovely is a part of MPRI’s Finance Department, and quickly gained trust and responsibility. While at MPRI, Kristina studied for her CPA, and now plays a key role in the finance department, managing the staff, dealing with auditors, and responding requests from MPRI’s parent company, L-3 Communications. |
Brenda Vasquez is a long standing member of MPRI’s Contracts and Procurement Department. Consistently recognized as a valuable resource by her colleagues, Brenda was recently instrumental in implementing the contractual side of a major reorganization effort for L-3 Communications. In addition, she is noted as being one of the first to volunteer to assist in special projects. If someone needs assistance she goes over and above to ensure that they are provided with what they need if not from her, then from the right staff member. |
Brad Walling is described as an energetic, highly motivated young man capable of handling many tasks assigned to him. He recently began his career in the Industrial Security arena, but performs at the level of a seasoned veteran. His primary focus is Physical Security and he has built the reputation for always researching new and better ways to enhance the security posture of our facility. He has received high praise from Senior Management in regards to his handling of his contract specific security duties. Brad is a very strong member of the MPRI Security Team and embodies the enthusiasm and persistence that contributes greatly to the overall posture of MPRI security. |
