MPRI Opens New Fayetteville Office
BRAC Transition Issues Will Be a Strong Area of Focus

ALEXANDRIA, Va., February 2, 2007 — MPRI, an L-3 Communications company (NYSE: LLL) announced today that the official ribbon cutting ceremony for their Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville, N.C. office will be held at 10 a.m. on February 9, 2007. MPRI Ft. Bragg/Fayetteville is located at 225 Ray Avenue, Suite 105, Fayetteville, N.C. The host will be U.S. Army General (Ret.) William F. “Buck” Kernan, senior vice president of MPRI. General Kernan is a long time resident of Pinehurst, N.C. and was a key player in the initial Ft. Bragg Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) transition effort. General Kernan currently serves as the Chairman, Board of Directors, of the North Carolina Military Foundation. MPRI will be joined by state and local government representatives and members of the Cumberland County Business Council at the ceremony.

MPRI will support Ft. Bragg operational BRAC transition issues at the state and local levels. MPRI is already active on Ft. Bragg, providing administrative staff support to installation organizations and training to corps and division units.
