Being able to shoot well is only part of the equation in combat and defensive shooting. Threat recognition and tactics such as use of cover are often neglected. LMTS can be used to safely, and inexpensively teach instinct shooting, multiple target acquisition, and moving and shooting. Unlike other training simulators costing up to 200 times as much, the students are completely mobile and can use their own weapon. Training scenarios can be developed in the real world environment in which the shooter must respond. You can teach the use of available cover while adapting to angles and different shooting distances.

Instructors are also students. Live fire practice is expensive and time consuming. A weekly practice regimen with LMTS will help the instructor hone and maintain the skills necessary for teaching proficiency while being able to demonstrate the tactics expected based on the standards set.
