Individual Information Form (IIF) Instructions
PRINT AND READ THIS—IT WILL HELP YOU!
L-3 MPRI maintains a database of select former military (or military related), DOD civilians, Homeland Security, law enforcement and other civilian professionals who would like to be considered for L-3 MPRI requirements. Personnel in the database are referred to as Contract Professionals and enjoy a relationship of mutual opportunity without obligation. Contract professionals are not assured consideration, nor do they have any obligation to accept opportunities that may be offered. L-3 MPRI’s noteworthy reputation is due in large part to the exceptional quality people it has attracted.
Completing an Individual Information Form (IIF):
The IIF provides us the information we need to match skills and experience with our customers requirements. When a search of our database matches position requirements to individual skill sets the prospective candidates are notified by email of the potential match and provided position information and instructions.
Access to the IIF form is provided to you through an email containing a link to either a blank form (new users) or your current IIF (updates). If you do not presently have an email account, request a no-cost one from a provider such as yahoo.com or hotmail.com before proceeding.
You will be asked to provide or select from pre-established lists—- General contact information, professional references, availability information, employment preferences, general qualifications, current or previous U.S. security clearance level, foreign language skills, last 5 (military, law enforcement and/or civilian) job history, and last 5 (military, law enforcement, civilian and or US Government) education history or professional development courses.
You will have an opportunity to annotate your interest in any of the current requirements listed on our job page. There is no requirement to list any of the current job opportunities. However, if you choose to list job postings, list only those for which you meet the position criteria.
Use the Comments block. Summarize your key capabilities - be specific but concise. It will only accept a limited amount of text. Keywords are helpful. Don’t use the Comments block for information already entered in other areas of the form. Do not attempt to cut and paste comments or resumes into this field. We do not permit resumes or other documents to be attached to the form.
Keeping your email address (and other contact information) current is especially important to your ability to update your record and our ability to contact you.
