L-3 MPRI to Provide Mission Command Training Capability Services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord

ALEXANDRIA, Va., February 1, 2012 – L-3 MPRI, a global provider of integrated training solutions, announced today that it will provide mission command training capability services at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. Under the awarded task order, L-3 MPRI and its small business partner, TechWise, will provide battle and mission command training, leadership development, warfighter functions (WFF) training, first person simulations (gaming) and constructive simulations supported training.

“Today’s warfighters understand the importance of training, and our live, virtual, constructive and gaming (LVGC) training tools will enhance their training experience,” said Doug Fouser, senior vice president and general manager of L-3 MPRI’s Mission Support Group. “L-3 MPRI has the expertise to leverage these tools in an integrated training environment to assist with their training mission.”

Joint Base Lewis-McChord is a training and mobilization center for all service branches, which was formed in January 2010 from the consolidation of Fort Lewis and McChord Air Force Base. The new joint base began service with 93 years of history as the oldest military installation in the Pacific Northwest; Fort Lewis was established in 1917 and McChord Air Force Base was established in 1947.
